Telomeres protect the ends of your chromosomes, but as aging occurs, telomeres shorten, increasing the aging process.
Stress can increase the rate of telomere shortening, and therefore the rate of aging. therefore reducing stress in your life can help improve longevity and assist slowing down of the inevitable aging process.
There are numerous things in life that can trigger stress. Some of these things are unavoidable situations. Therefore it is good to learn how to deal with stress in order to help reduce it's detrimental affects, and maintain healthy telomeres to help slow up the aging process.
