So we've been delving underground and have come up with... helpful, harmless, humble worms .
So instead of throwing your vegetable food scraps in the rubbish, start a worm farm or compost and feed them to your worms. Not only will you have less and better smelling household rubbish, but you'll be well rewarded with nutrient-rich vermicast for your garden... it's a win win situation.
